The MOSO platform uses encryption of passwords, emails and telephone numbers. The algorithm used is SHA256 for password and AES_ENCRYPT of MySQL for email and phone number. The purpose of encryption is to prevent malicious threats from gaining access to personal data about users of the MOSO platform.
